As there were 20 rooms with walls and floor to clean & re-colour we had to work with couple of rooms at a time to make sure we get it all done in time and won’t interrupt the normal operation in offices. For cleaning the grout we used a grout colouring pre-treat cleaner which gets the job done in areas where most cleaners won’t, also helps the colourant to stick on better.
For colouring the Grout lines we used epoxy based Grout Colourant, it's brilliant product as it rejuvenates and also seals the grout. For floors we used Natural grey colour and for walls Brilliant White colour. It's simple application but it’s very time consuming when doing such big rooms. Fist we applied the Colourant on grout lines with personalised toothbrushes as we cut them to fit grout. This way we manage less waste, although still quite a bit colourant gets on tiles which has to be wiped off. All areas had 2-3 generous coats of the grout colorant. Overall it took us 2 weeks to complete all the work but I think you can’t argue that all toilets and kitchens look rejuvenated and fresh again.
